Da  anni  è nata l’esigenza di caratterizzare la nostra proposta artistica, scegliendo di offrire al pubblico una versione unplugged anche di concerti di artisti che normalmente si propongono nella tipica formazione da tour, diversificandola in modo sostanziale rispetto ai molti eventi di simile realizzazione in regione.  Una formula esclusivamente pensata per far risaltare il suggestivo e affascinante centro storico creando una particolare sintonia tra luogo e musica: "SEXTO ‘NPLUGGED - Quando il luogo determina la musica".

    Attraverso un contatto diretto tra musicisti e direzione artistica della Pro Sesto si intende realizzare una serie di  concerti inediti, spogliati da tutto quello che è superfluo, mostrando i brani musicali nella loro veste originale, quella con la quale l’artista li concepisce, con una strumentazione essenziale. Quasi ad imitare la mancanza di ostentazione caratteristica della vita condotta un tempo dai monaci della nostra Abbazia.

    Gli artisti che  hanno calcato il nostro palcoscenico sono stati: Carmen Consoli, Afterhours, Antony & the Johnson, l'Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman, L'aura, Quintorigo, Remo Anzovino, Jonathan Davis, Ludovico Einaudi, Blonde Redhead, Marlene Kuntz, Davide Van De Sfroos e molti altri. Il progetto realizzato dalla Pro Sesto costa maggiori fatiche agli artisti che si esibiscono per Sexto ‘Nplugged - spesso, infatti, vengono allestiti veri e propri set di prove dedicati a sperimentare  nuove soluzioni con gli strumenti  concordati. Il parere degli addetti ai lavori del mondo della stampa, ma soprattutto delle stesse produzioni è favorevole.

Oltre all’esclusività, pertanto, viene offerta una proposta nuova ed estremamente raffinata che può accontentare un pubblico che, dal tipo di spettacolo e dal particolare luogo, rimarrà sicuramente affascinato.

About 3 years ago a new demand was born inside the "Pro Sesto" Association: to characterize the artistic suggestion, diversifying it in a substantial way as opposed to the lots of similar events in the region. The 2 new main points on which this new musical proposal bases on, is to create unique events using a formula which wants to focus on the suggestive and fascinating historical centre, producing music particularly in harmony with the place: SEXTO 'NPLUGGED - when the place determines music, and to focus the attention on the turistic side of the place, letting people know towards internet the interesting artistic and historical sites which are in the area near Sesto al Reghena.

We'd like to have a direct contact with the artist/s to keep in touch and decide together the kind of concert they will be present in our stage. The idea is to realize a show completely different from the rest of the tour, in which the music is naked, deprived of every redundant sound, and in which the acoustic instruments are used instead of electric ones. The project would like to produce every single musical piece just in the way the artist has originally conceived it, with an essential instrumentation. Nearly to imitate the absence of ostentation typical of the monks' life, the monks which once lived in this same place. The project is usually not easy for the artists, who often need to practice more to find and try new solutions with the arranged instruments. The productions are mostly very well-disposed towards this different idea, and the experts as well.

We put on this project all our passion and enthusiasm and we hope we can improve every year.
